On November 18, 19 and 20th over 600 people gathered at the Massey Theatre in New Westminster to see the production of We Deserve to Work. We Deserve to Work was researched, created, and acted by a team of self advocates with disabilities and theatre artists supported by the Community Living Society, Canadian Institute for Inclusion and Citizenship, and Massey Theatre to better understand and share stories about the rights of people with disabilities to find and keep meaningful employment – and some obstacles they encounter along the way.
